Sometimes beauty hides under the bridge. As a part of the strategy "Beautiful Main Roads" in the City of Herning, Moto Muto assisted iGuzzini in creating a lighting experience for motorist and cyclists.
Employing RGB linear lights in combination with a striking light-streak effect the route 18 highway bridge at Herning, Denmark is a sight to behold during night time.
As the sun sets, a multi-coloured, second "sunrise" takes place under the bridge, slowly changing colour as the night progresses.
Programming of the light cycle was undertaken by Moto Muto utilizing the Network Controllers ability to store dynamic, time-bound lighting data. Mounted in a small, discreet cabinet the Network Controller sends DMX directly to the fixtures under the bridge. Program start is triggered by the surrounding street lights.
